In my junior year of Design & Visual Communications I was asked to chose three (3) existing music CDs from three (3) different artists. The artists I chose a very diverse from each other in musical stylings, fan-base, and genre. I designed a fresh take on the subject you choose. Each CD cover included the Artist’s name, and Album Title. Each CD back included the list of the songs (minimum of 10 listings), the artist’s name and album title (repeated), a brief description of the CD (a minimum of 25 words of original content), and legal copy (a minimum of 25 words at 6pt.) My design was 4.75” x 4.75” in dimension. I used high resolution (300 ppi), and the overall CD design. It took about 20 hours to complete. In this design I utilized Indesign for some copy placement and Photoshop.
